Changing lives through vision therapy

Miami Vision Therapy is proud to provide office-based vision therapy to both children and adults in our South Florida community. We treat patients with vision issues from amblyopia, binocular vision disorders, diplopia, post traumatic brain injury, and more

Our services include: vision therapy evaluation, personalized 1-on-1 vision therapy sessions.

We are exclusively a vision therapy practice.  We do not have an optical, and we work with our referring eyecare providers for the patients’ primary eye care needs.

Dr. Eric ChowOptometric Physician
Eric Chow, OD, FAAO received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St. John’s University and his Doctorate of Optometry from the SUNY College of Optometry in New York.

The following year, he completed a residency program at NOVA Southeastern College of Optometry in areas of pediatrics and binocular vision and vision therapy.

After completing his residency, he worked in the ophthalmology department at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Chow is one of a select few optometrists in Miami to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and a commitment to lifelong learning for the advancement of patient care.

Dr. Adam ClarinOptometric Physician
Dr. Adam Clarin graduated, with honors, from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2008. During his time at Nova, he was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa, the international optometric honor society.

Dr. Clarin is a developmental optometrist focused on vision development, binocular vision, vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehab. In addition, Dr. Clearing has worked with athletes at many levels including professional, college and elite high school on improving their vision and cognition through optometric based vision training techniques.

Just as physical therapists might use treadmills or weights, a vision therapist might utilize prisms, eye patches, filtered lenses, and computerized systems to conduct therapy sessions and train visual skills. Our therapists will work one-on-one with you, building bonds and building skills, to overcome any obstacle in the way for functional vision.
